Smartalock is a modern electronic lock system designed to make storage furniture intelligent. Personal storage solutions for the workplace are changing rapidly with the advent of Activity Based Workplaces. Flexible working is leading to the sharing of individual desks and the reduction of per-employee storage at the desk itself. Employees require dynamically assigned lockers, placed near where they are working which may change each day. Teams also need access to shared yet secure storage for group projects, all the while maintaining floor space cost savings.
Smartalock can be used in both existing storage lockers, or with no visible lock or handle required - creating a seamless locker design that blends into walls and any custom fit out. Smartalock also works with existing building access cards and a free Smartphone application (vis Bluetooth) as well as the included touchscreen kiosk. The app allows you to share locker access with other users, open lockers on approach, and set timed locker openings for cleaning and other services.
Unlike battery powered locks, Smartalock is mains powered with an optional USB backup. This means there are no yearly battery replacements required and zero disposal of toxic materials. Low maintenance operation makes it easy to add and remove users, lockers, or swipe cards, giving you more time and freedom to get back to your day.
