Countdown to the Release of our Women Family Business E-Book

"...When women are included, they in turn support inclusiveness in the business. They help to maintain a close and cohesive family that finds value in being together beyond financial wealth. This cohesion shows all stakeholders that they are cared about, building motivation at all levels and creating passion that translates into performance, both financial and non-financial." Joseph Astrachan Professor Wells Fargo Eminent Scholar Chair of Family Business

Insights.org.au is only days away from releasing their new and compelling e-book "Women in Family Businesses".  This e-book will present family business through the eyes of the women who lead and work in them – across diverse ages, cultures, roles and ownership models.

The book explores what research shows about women and family businesses and how effective this combination can be. Case studies highlight the powerful role that women are playing in this sector.

There is an incredible Q&A section featuring seven established and successful women from global family businesses. Their open and honest answers to our six questions provide inspirational accounts of personal stories, learnings and influences.

One of the questions we ask our seven contributors is " What is the one piece of advice you would give your 25 year old self?". Their answers were so compelling we decided to add an interactive section for all of our readers to share and discuss their own answer with our growing community.

The book concludes with a simple action plan designed to ensure women in family businesses have all of the pieces in place to think through their personal and business future.

This book was designed by Insights: a not-for-profit organisation providing educational resources specifically for family businesses. Most importantly, we customise resources to meet the challenges that families behind family businesses often face (http://insights.org.au/how/insights-can-help-your-family-group)

We are passionate about family businesses and especially about the women who drive them either in business or family leadership roles. If you would like to be part of our pre-release please contact us on 0402 247 046 or k.harland@insights.org.au
