Celebrate Dad all weekend this Father’s Day at The Star with an array of exquisite dining at the renowned signature restaurants and indulgent experiences at The Darling Spa from Friday, 1 September through to Sunday, 3 September.

Special Father’s Day offers and events include:

SIGNATURE DINING
Sokyo | Dinner: Friday 1 & Saturday 2 September 5:30–10:30pm; Sunday 3 September 5:30–10pm 
Chase Kojima, Executive Chef of contemporary Japanese restaurant, Sokyo will serve up a family sharing feast with fathers in mind. Dad can ease into the weekend with a Suntory Kakubin Old Fashioned cocktail and a family share style Jack’s Creek skirt steak (500g) grilled over Binchotan charcoal ($120). Other cocktail specials on offer over the Father’s Day weekend include the Yamazaki Old Fashioned ($25) and Hibiki Harmony Old Fashioned ($30). For reservations, phone 1800 700 700.

BLACK Bar & Grill | Lunch: Friday 1, Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 September 12:30–2:30pm Dinner: Friday 1 & Saturday 2 September 5:30–10pm; Sunday 3 September 5:30–9:30pm Give Dad the ultimate break from BBQ duties with BLACK Bar & Grill’s Father’s Day weekend lunch and dinner specials. Executive Chef Dany Karam has created the ultimate menu for the occasion, with highlights of scallops, served from the charcoal oven with wakame butter ($6.50 each), and wood grilled grass-fed Angus fillet with lobster tail, miso hollandaise and charred lemon ($65). Complete the meal with an indulgent selection of desserts, including BLACK’s renowned warm couverture chocolate ganache, lemon tart with hazelnut crunch, or a selection of cheeses with accompaniments. Surprise Dad with the authentic flavours of Italy and uninterrupted harbour views at Balla. Executive Chef, Gabriele Taddeucci has created a set menu for Father’s Day Sunday lunch – a family feast showcasing Balla’s most popular dishes ($95 p/p). Available for dinner all weekend will be a decadent, slow roasted Tuscan style suckling pig porchetta special, paired with Aglianico del Vulture Synthesi, Paternoster ($49). CASUAL DINING
Harvest Buffet | Lunch: Friday 1 – Sunday 3 September 11:30am–3:30pm Dinner: Friday 1 & Saturday 2 September 5–10pm; Sunday 3 September 5–9:30pm
Gather the family at Harvest Buffet this Father’s Day to enjoy a seafood buffet, celebrating Australia’s spectacular produce. The generous spread will include oysters, chilled prawns, blue swimmer crab, Queensland spanner crab, Kinkawooka mussels, marinated clams and Tasmanian salmon. Lunch and dinner seatings are priced at $69.90 per adult, including a complimentary glass of wine, beer or spirits for Dad, and $25 for children. No reservations required.

Pizzaperta | Friday 1, Saturday 2 September 11:30–12am;
Sunday 3 September 11:30am–6pm
Add some spice to Dad’s weekend with the Hot Calabrese pizza special and a choice of craft beer ($30) at Pizzaperta. The open-air piazza style pizzeria and bar is a relaxed and convivial setting to celebrate with loved ones over chef, Stefano Manfredi’s menu of classic and new
wave pizzas. Manfredi makes use of local produce and ingredients and artisan, unrefined flour to create Pizzaperta’s signature pizzas, cooked in an authentic wood-fired oven from Naples. Spoil sweet tooth’s with a Nutella Pizza topped with strawberries and vanilla ice cream or family
favourite, Tiramisu. Italian cocktails will complete the menu, with choices of Negroni, Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martini di Manfredi. For reservations, phone 1800 700 700.

24/7 Sports Bar | Friday, Saturday & Sunday, open 24 hours
Sports-mad Dads will be delighted by a trip to The Star’s 24/7 Sports Bar, where they’ll never miss a match. On the menu, all Father’s Day weekend will be the Dad’s Burger ($16), with a Toohey’s New schooner ($20) and 12 wings for half price.

The Darling Spa | 1–31 September 2017
For Dads in need of a little pampering, award-winning The Darling Spa will offer a special treatment throughout September. Treat dad to uninterrupted indulgence with ‘The Gentleman’ – a 30-minute back and neck massage, followed by a 30-minute gent’s express facial and
