POLLEN CONSULTING GROUP CELEBRATES FIRST BIRTHDAY BY HIRING TOP INTERNATIONAL TALENT

Announcement posted by Boatshed Media 11 Sep 2017

SYDNEY SEPTEMBER 11, 2017: A year after its successful launch, Pollen Consulting Group has made several key appointments to keep up with the growing demand for its fresh take on the consultancy model.

Joining the Pollen team as a Director will be Danny Van D’huynslager. Van D’huynslager has an extensive track record of starting up and leading professional consulting services firms. Prior to joining Pollen, he co-founded a start-up focusing on developing new collaborative service models and was an advisor to start-ups in the digital space.

“Danny has the experience of running a region for a large European consultancy blended with an entrepreneurial spirit, an eye for tech and a vision to challenge the consultancy norms. This is the perfect mix for Pollen and with it comes a wealth of experience for our clients,” Pollen CEO, Paul Eastwood, said.

Van D’huynslager holds an executive MBA from Harvard Business School and a Masters in Bioscience Engineering from the University of Leuven.

Drawing inspiration from other sectors for innovative ideas that can be applied to the food and beverage sector, Pollen is working exclusively with a number of customers in the sector, where its advice and support comes with a deep and intrinsic understanding of their business.

“It’s exciting to see the positive change we’ve made for our clients by collaborating, thinking bigger picture and not just stripping cost out of the business,” Eastwood, said. “They have come to regard Pollen as true partners, we roll our sleeves up and really get to know what they do on a first-hand basis without trying to over sell. Our flexible support models ensure we are on hand only when needed.”

Joining Van D’huynslager in the ranks of new Pollen recruits are consultants Oliver North, Helena Itthirad, Matthew Wilkins and Ollie Hill.

“We’ve been able to attract top international talent because of our start-up culture the autonomy we give our consultants to own their projects, create work life balance for themselves and the flat structure focused on clients problems not hierarchical politics,” Eastwood said.

In the 12 months since launch, Pollen has grown to a staff of 10 servicing clients across the country.
