AUSTRALIA'S LONGEST SERVING SEX DISCRIMINATION COMMISSIONER ELIZABETH BRODERICK TO SPEAK AT WOMEN WORLD CHANGERS SUMMIT
Australia's longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick (2007-2015) will be speaking at The Growth Faculty's second Women World Changers Summit one day leadership conference on Monday October 9th in Melbourne at the MCEC and Wednesday October 11th in Sydney at the ICC. Elizabeth Broderick has been an advocate for Australia’s paid parental leave scheme and was able to influence change to regulations that increased the number of women at decision making levels.
The Women World Changers Summit will discuss the critical learnings of adaptability, innovation and agility. Elizabeth will draw on her extensive experience in Australia and Internationally on gender equality, diversity and cultural renewal across numerous sectors. and She will shares her insights on stepping up beside courageous leaders as they build the talent they need for the future Women World Changers will focus on how organisational change is made with social innovation and government policy.
Other guest speakers at the Women World Changers Summit include Valerie Jarrett, the longest serving Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama, as well as Anita Krohn Traaseth CEO of Innovation Norway and Laura Liswood who co-founded the Council of Women World Leaders. Academic Psychologist Professor Cordelia Fine, and Australia Institute’s chief economist Dr Richard Denniss will also be joining the line-up, tackling some of Australia's most pressing equity issues on politics, economics and socio-cultural factors. Women World Changers invites Australian business to challenge their thinking, change their game and take action.
