ZETTA SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES OFFICE 365 MIGRATION PROJECT FOR MURDOCH UNIVERSITY

Announcement posted by Zetta 12 Sep 2017

PERTH, 12 September 2017 - Zetta is pleased to announce the successful deployment of Microsoft Office 365 cloud-based applications, to Murdoch University’s staff and students. This project is a significant contributor to Murdoch University’s IT strategy, which includes the upgrade to its ICT infrastructure and improvement to end user experiences.

Murdoch University consulted Zetta to support the design and execution of the implementation of Office 365 and related applications, including Office 2016 ProPlus, Exchange Online, Skype for Business and Yammer.

Historically, Murdoch University students and staff operated from differing application platforms, resulting in compatibility and administration challenges. The new environment will improve productivity, by providing consistency together with increased functionality and end user collaboration opportunities.

A key component of this project sought to provide end users with the appropriate level of training for them to achieve the maximum benefits from the new environment and applications. Through collaboration with the University IT Project team, we were able to deliver tailored sessions and provide both audio-visual and written support resources.

The depth of experience Zetta has in designing, building, and deploying enterprise grade ICT infrastructure; including their experience with cloud services such as Office 365, was a crucial factor in Murdoch University’s selection process. Zetta’s ability to leverage this experience helped to deliver the Office 365 Phase 1 project on time, with the anticipated outcomes and benefits.

“We are pleased to have built a strong relationship with Murdoch during this engagement, our team worked closely with Murdoch’s IT staff to ensure a seamless transition for all end users to the new environment”, said Nathan Harman, Zetta Group CEO.

“Our experience with Zetta was both supportive and collaborative. We are pleased to have achieved success in such a relatively short space of time, and it’s been great to see the benefits out in our community” said Michael Grant, Director ITS, Murdoch University.
