COUNTRY MUSIC ROYALTY SUPPORT YOUNG STAR ON DEBUT ALBUM

Australia’s up and coming country singer and song writer Angus Gill releases his debut album  ‘NOMAD’ this Friday September 15 2017 which already features his current chart topping hit “Roadworks”. At 19 years old Gill is already making waves as a favourite at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and was a grand finalist in Australia’s biggest and longest running talent competition, the 2017 Toyota Star Maker.

The Nomad album has been written by Angus and Australian country music royalty including Adam Harvey, Gina Jeffreys, Luke O’Shea and Kevin Bennett. Angus has also produced all 13 tracks on this debut album at his Hot Plate Studios in Wauchope, NSW. The album features Angus teaming up with Kevin Bennett and Amos Morris on Staring Out The Back of a Car dealing with the tragedy of the Stolen Generation and he duets with Adam Harvey on P Plater, a track dealing with the realities of young drivers  which combines both Angus and Adam’s sense of humour.

Gill has toured and/or co-written with some of Australia’s finest musicians and singer-songwriters, such as The Black Sorrows, Mental as Anything, Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band), Sara Storer, Troy Cassar-Daley, Rick Price, Karise Eden, Adam Harvey, Felicity Urquhart and Gina Jeffreys. He has also co-written a music education anthem with Harry Angus (The Cat Empire) and John Foreman, which was sung by over half a million primary and secondary school students nationwide.
