Pulse Laser Relief Adds Innovative Vielight Devices to its Low Level Light Therapy Range

Announcement posted by Crescendo Communications 20 Sep 2017

Australian Low Level Laser Therapy distributor, Pulse Laser Relief has expanded its consumer and professional range of high-quality, affordable light therapy (photobiomodulation) devices with the Vielight intranasal LED and Laser range.

Intranasal and transcranial light therapy was pioneered by Vielight’s research team as a non-invasive technique to deliver therapeutic light (photonic) energy into the human body via the nasal cavity. Without natural barriers of skin and hair, and rich in blood capillaries, the nasal passage is the most efficient channel for light particles to target the ventral brain area.

“Wearable intranasal light therapy technology is an exciting innovation in the field of photomedicine, and the growing body of research shows promising health benefits,” said Stuart McComb, Managing Director Pulse Laser Relief.

Vielight‘s intranasal stimulation technology is available in five wearable devices, available from www.PulseLaserRelief.com.au:
  • Vielight Neuro Alpha
  • Vielight Neuro Gamma
  • Vielight 810
  • Vielight Red 633
  • Vielight Prime 655 Laser
The newest devices, the Vielight Neuro Alpha and Gamma models, are the next generation in transcranial-intranasal near infrared (NIR) engineering, developed specifically for home use.

The adjustable headset sits comfortably on the head during treatment, so the user can sit back and relax, while the LED lights go to work.

Transcranial Photobiomodulation (tPBM) has been found to be beneficial in treating a range of brain functions, such as improving mental acuity, enhanced cognition and memory retrieval. Research conducted at Boston University (Naeser 2016) has documented improvements in executive function and verbal memory following tPBM treatment on patients with traumatic brain injury. The technology has also been found beneficial for concussion recovery, brain neurodegenerative symptoms, neuro-developmental symptoms and supporting sleep.
