We're proud to Introduce MudWatt! This Award winning kit engages kids in STEM in a whole new way, using the power of electricity-generating bacteria living in the soil beneath our feet! It harnesses the power of micro-organisms living in the soil to generate electricity!

The MudWatt kit includes everything it needs to function—from cathode to anode–all you have to do is set it up and add some dirt. Within 3-5 days, the microbes within the soil will start to release electrons which generate enough electricity to fuel a digital clock and LED, or track growth on the MudWatt Explorer App. 

MudWatt is the perfect STEM project for budding scientists and engineers, it incorporates a mix of different sciences, with tangible experiences. The MudWatt kits adhere to best practices in STEM education (e.g. cross-disciplinary, creativity-instigating, and learning outcome-oriented), with tons of free resources to help educators adapt our kits to their classrooms.

The MudWatt will be available in three different kits with varying tools, ranging from the Classic kit at $54.95 to the Classroom kit at $349.95. Stock will be available from Mid to late October 2017.
