Shark Shield to feature in new television series
FREEDOM+ Surf named one of Australia’s top innovations of the year

Shark Shield is thrilled to announce their innovative FREEDOM+ Surf product will feature in the brand new television series Australia By Design Innovation, airing on TEN and ONE from October 28. Australia's leading innovation experts will be on the judging panel for the series of six episodes, each half an hour long, to showcase 40 of the best innovations and designs drawn from the national Good Design Awards.

The new television series aims to bring good design into the hearts and minds of Australians. Reminiscent of popular shows such as Beyond 2000 and The New Inventors (Lindsay also featured on The New Inventors in 2009), Australia By Design Innovation will feature eight different innovations in each episode.
The final episode counts down the best top 10 innovations drawn from the series. It will be up to the show’s expert panel of judges to decide which innovation will be declared Australia's top innovation of the year.
Australia By Design Innovation will be airing on TEN from 2:00pm Saturday, October 28 and on ONE from 3.30pm Sunday October 29 for six consecutive weeks.
About the FREEDOM+ Surf
The FREEDOM+ Surf features a transferable power module housed in a custom designed Ocean & Earth tail pad kicker, which can easily be transferred from board to board. It’s suitable for all board types, so all surfers need to do is install the FREEDOM+ Surf Tail Pad / Decal Antenna on each board in their quiver. The tail pad houses the transferable power module and includes a sticker-thin, adhesive decal that’s simply applied to the underside of the board.
