Announcement posted by CoverCard 30 Oct 2017

Brisbane-based tech startup CoverCard has today announced the appointment of Phil de Courcey as an Advisor.

Phil de Courcey, who is currently the CEO of the Resources and Engineering Skills Alliance, will provide valuable input to CoverCard as they continue to assist frontline workers and employers in blue collar industries that have particular ticket, licence and qualification requirements.

‘Phil’s background in mining, defence and technology will be hugely valuable as we continue to grow our business,’ said CoverCard CEO and Co-Founder Matt Tomlins.

‘We’re looking forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge and industry contacts that Phil has built over a long period. It’s an exciting time for our business and Phil will play an important part in shaping our story as we grow.’

Phil de Courcey believes CoverCard can play a key role in driving efficiencies that assist both workers and employers, particularly in the mining and construction sectors and potentially defence.

'CoverCard's technology is hugely impressive and is already making significant strides in assisting job seekers, workers, recruiters and employers alike. I've seen first-hand the industry need for this product and I'm excited to work with Matt and the team.'
