Legato Systems Announces Support For Sun Cluster 3.0

Legato NetWorker 6.1.1 on Sun Solaris 8 provides 24x7 protection and availability of business-critical information in heterogeneous environments
Legato Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: LGTO), a worldwide leader in enterprise storage management software, today announced that Legato NetWorker(r) 6.1.1 on Sun Solaris(tm) 8 now supports Sun(tm) Cluster 3.0 and provides 24x7 protection and availability of business-critical information and applications for medium to large heterogeneous enterprise environments.

Legato NetWorker 6.1.1 can now backup applications and/or database servers clustered with Sun Cluster 3.0. In the event of a failure, NetWorker will backup the current, active, server node. Sun Cluster 3.0 also can be used to cluster NetWorker 6.1.1 servers for higher availability.
