An indication of the company's dedication to care

RetireAustralia has invested in its care and support offerings with an appointment to the newly-created role of National Services Manager.

Kate Gilmour will oversee the progressive rollout of care and support services across 27 villages nationwide following a successful pilot.

Kate was previously the Executive Home Care Manager at Adventist Senior Living and worked with Integrated Living, opening up 16 home care locations across New South Wales.

“It’s been amazing to see such passion from the whole RetireAustralia team in getting care services up and running,” Kate said.

“I’m looking forward to working with such an inspiring team for many years to come.”

RetireAustralia’s General Manager of Care and Operations, Brigid London, said the appointment is an indication of the company’s dedication to care services.

“Our emerging new home care services are picking up pace in our pilot villages at the Central Coast,” she said.

“Kate will be responsible for continuing this development across the portfolio and for developing frontline teams.”

A native of Gosford, Kate has spent her first days in the role meeting new colleagues and learning about the company’s offerings.

“I’ve been made to feel very welcome and I love the big vision of RetireAustralia across many different departments,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to this time next year when we can look back and know we nailed it.”
