Year 2 Student Takes Over 3P Learning Executive Meeting On World Children’s Day

Announcement posted by 360PR 20 Nov 2017

Today is World Children’s Day and kids around Australia and the world are taking over the conversation. UNICEF says it’s time we listened to children’s opinions about the state of the world they live in. 3P Learning has brought World’s Children’s Day to life in their own office, sharing how they are proud of their ongoing partnership with UNICEF, supporting the organisation for seven years now.

Mathletics enthusiast and Year 2 Student from Carlingford West Public School, Isha Berry, took over one of 3P Learning’s executive meetings in the Australian Headquarters Boardroom.

Rebekah O’Flaherty, CEO of 3P Learning, says, “Isha did a great job taking the leadership team through her ideas on how to make Mathletics and our other products even better.”

“Our purpose at 3P Learning is to inspire a love of learning, and it’s always such a privilege to hear direct from our target audience to make sure we’re serving them and realising our purpose.”

UNICEF’s World Children’s Day celebrates the anniversary of the Convention of the Rights of the Child. This year the focus is on Article 12 - Respect for the views of the child. UNICEF Australia is asking children to join in the takeover in their own homes and schools and is asking adults and parents to take a pledge to listen to children in their world. Everyone can take the pledge at www.worldchildrensday.org.au

“Since 2014, we have been supporting UNICEF in a series of focussed projects across Zimbabwe, donating over $400,000. Our funding commitments have supported at least 16 separate schools through the program. The key objective is to increase school attendance by eliminating obstacles preventing children from accessing an education,” says O’Flaherty.
