Home Away From Home: Eclipse Early Education’s Centres Provides Quality Learning

Announcement posted by Eclipse Early Childhood Education 21 Nov 2017

The award-winning Eclipse Early Education Group works with parents to provide its children the best educational resources and exceptional learning opportunities. At its early childhood education centres across Australia at Brookfield, Clyde North, Craigieburn, Cranbourne East, Cranbourne North, Epping, Eynesbury, Lyndhurst, Murrumbeena, Pimpama and Torquay every effort is made to ensure the activities, curriculum and facilities make the children feel comfortable in their learning environment.

Eclipse centres provide infant care for 0-2 year olds, toddler care for 2-3 year olds, kinder care for 3 year olds and a fully funded kindergarten program for 4 year olds. The curriculum at EEG centres is based around the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), to ensure the child has a feeling of belonging to their learning environment.

The aim of EYLF is to enrich children’s learning from birth to five years and through transition to school. EEEG centres aim to create a home-like environment where children can express their personality and develop their confidence through play-based activities. The Framework forms the foundation for ensuring that children experience quality teaching and learning. It has a specific emphasis on play-based learning and recognises the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development.

The classroom and outside areas at the Eclipse centres are designed to be engaging spaces preparing the child for success through discovery and learning. The expert teachers create opportunities for rich social play. Language is encouraged through carefully selected resources. By engaging children with written and spoken words, the teachers assist in developing reading and writing skills. At the EEG centres children are filled with new and wonderful experiences to help young learners find what sparks their curiosity.

EEG centres are happy and friendly spaces, where parents and children will find the right early education setting. Children are encouraged to value their interests and relate to others while learning new things daily. The centre prepares its children to move on to the next age group or school. Children at all Eclipse centres are given nutritious meals which are specially prepared by qualified chefs. Parents who would like to send their child to Eclipse will find the KindyNow App useful. The app allows parents to make casual bookings or find lastminute spots. The Storypark App helps parents and families to share images, video, audio and PDFs related to their child’s growth and the time spent at school.
