Announcement posted by Advanced Solutions International (Asia-Pacific) 22 Nov 2017

Melbourne, VIC (22 November 2017) — Advanced Solutions International (ASI), a leading global provider of software and services for associations and not-for-profits, was a founding sponsor of NiUG Asia-Pacific’s 11th annual Discovery Conference held in Melbourne on 16-18 October.

ASI is the provider of the iMIS 20 Engagement Management System (EMS)™ and has more than 4,000 clients, 100 partners and millions of users worldwide.  NiUG Asia Pacific is the local chapter of the US based iMIS users group NiUG International —the largest independent, international users group in the not-for-profit software industry.

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 2017 NiUG Asia-Pacific Discovery Conference offered educational sessions, training classes, demonstrations, exhibitor showcases, and networking events for the 130+ iMIS users, solution providers, consultants and vendors in attendance.

For the first time, the conference included a dedicated stream for users of iMIS 100/200 – the cloud-based iMIS editions specifically designed for smaller not-for-profits.  The comprehensive program also included sessions on optimising dashboards, using process automation to streamline tasks, enhanced reporting, managing websites, measuring engagement levels, and more.

At the event, Michelle Lelempsis the Chair of NiUG Asia Pacific announced her retirement from the board of NiUG Asia-Pacific after 10 years of service and was recognised for her tireless work on behalf of the organisation.  ASI Chairman and CEO Bob Alves traveled from the USA to the event along with ASI staff who presented on the latest iMIS features and enhancements.

“We look forward to the NiUG Discovery Conference all year because we see the greater iMIS community coming together in one place.  ASI gains tremendous knowledge, feedback and insights from our clients particularly at this event and it’s invaluable to us,” said Colin Bryant, ASI Asia-Pacific Country Manager.  “I also want to thank our friend and colleague, Michelle Lelempsis, for her incredible commitment to NiUG’s mission – she is an amazing leader and we’ve been grateful for her service to the board for so many years.”

Great Things Awards
Each year, ASI presents the annual Great Things Awards, which recognise clients who are using iMIS to help further their missions and accomplish ‘great things.’  With the help of their Authorised iMIS Consultants (AiCs) or Solution Providers (AiSPs), the following 2017 winners achieved this through their outstanding iMIS RiSE websites:
