Families look for meaningful gifts this Christmas

Announcement posted by Tiny Giants 27 Nov 2017

There is a growing consumer trend towards purchasing more meaningful products for Christmas this year according to online business Tiny Giants.  Orders for their children’s product have tripled in the past 3 weeks with customers saying they are looking for unique gifts instead of the usual plastic or soft toys.

According to leading Educator, Author & Parenting Specialist, Maggie Dent, too many toys can limit creativity.  Ms Dent suggested in a recent radio interview, “Next time you buy something, have a conversation – does this allow children to be creative and be a bit more interesting?”  *

Most parents want nothing more than their child to be happy.  The team at Tiny Giants have woven the science and psychology behind raising happy children into a product known as the Chit Chat Box.

“This fun activity set is uniquely designed to encourage kids to be kind, share stories, give back and connect with family,” explained Amanda Gauci, co-founder of Tiny Giants.

Ms Dent recently shared her feedback, "I am always on the look out for quality products that families can use that stimulate creativity, thinking skills, conversation and problem solving in fun non-digital ways. If you have 4-8 year olds I recommend the Chit Chat Box - as it encourages all of the above. This would be fabulous to take on school holidays anywhere, especially while camping."

Tiny Giants regularly receive comments from customers who are excited about finding a meaningful, screen-free product for children.  A recent Instagram post sums it up perfectly, “Bought 5 last night for gifts for family friends! I was really looking for something more meaningful this year and this provides it!”

Amanda & Dave Gauci started Tiny Giants because they couldn’t find products like this for their own children.

“It’s been extremely rewarding to create a product and share it with other families knowing it’s having a positive impact,” Ms Gauci commented.
