Anite International launches Channel Partner Program for Telco market in Asia Pacific

Announcement posted by Anite International 01 Oct 2003

Anite International?s Telecoms division provides intercompany billing solutions, which support all markets, as well as cost effective retail solutions.
The Telecoms team is actively seeking to join forces with systems integrators, resellers, marketing companies and solution providers throughout Asia Pacific who operate in the telecommunications sector. The primary role of these partner organisations will be to provide Anite with increased brand visibility across the across telecommunications industry in Asia Pacific, by identifying new business opportunities.
Martyn Phillips, Managing Director for Anite International - Asia Pacific, said partner organisations were required in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
?We are interested in talking to companies who are active in the Telco space and want to be rewarded for being our ?eyes and ears? as we continue to expand throughout the region,? Martyn explained. ?The remuneration packages we?ve developed are sufficiently attractive to provide a significant incentive for any organisation.?
The level of remuneration will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature and depth of each partnership. Anite International has already entered into discussions with organisations in India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. It plans to bed down all partnerships by November 2003.
Anite International?s Telecoms billing division has experienced spectacular success in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. The team has a track record of more than 30 successful installations globally with high profile customers including Telia, Telenor, EMT and Wavecrest.
With revenue targets of $14 million this financial year (ending April 2004), Anite International - Asia Pacific?s operations look set to grow rapidly. Forty per cent of this revenue is expected to come from the Telecoms division.
Anite International?s decision to establish permanent operations in Asia Pacific was cemented by a AU$30 million contract win with the Victorian Office of Housing in October last year. The project was the largest ICT tender to be awarded by the Victorian Government in 2002.
Anite?s Phillips said: ?The housing project reinforced the types of opportunities available in line with our vision for expansion into the region. It will also enable us to build a core team of more than 100 staff by mid 2004.?
