"This co-marketing relationship between Legato and IBM is intended to provide customers with a range of data backup and recovery solutions that can be both quickly and confidently implemented."

Legato NetWorker Modules provide high-performance, online protection and rapid recovery for popular databases, messaging and ERP applications. These include IBM DB2, Informix, Lotus Notes, and SAP. Other complementary
modules provide autochanger support, HSM and Archive functionality, and automated NDMP-based NAS protection capabilities.

"We are pleased that IBM, an industry leader is teaming up with Legato to provide NetWorker together with IBM's TotalStorage Solutions Offerings," said Charles Fonner, vice president, worldwide marketing, Legato Systems.
