ACP selects Cincom's Priority System

Australian Construction Products Pty Ltd (ACP), a manufacturer of quality safety barrier systems and other civil engineering products, has chosen Cincoms Priority ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution as its manufacturing system.
The Cincom Priority application will replace a number of manual systems and internal spreadsheets and will mainly be used to schedule and plan production, as well as to measure performance on the shop floor. ACP will also be using the purchasing and sales modules of Priority.
Leigh Brown, General Manager of ACP, said having compared Priority with other systems, the company was convinced it was the only product which could do the job.
We needed a manufacturing system that could help run our business and until we saw Priority we didnt think just one system would be able to, explained Mr Brown. Not only were we impressed with the system, but the professionalism and experience of the Cincom staff involved was second to none.
ACP is a subsidiary of Southern Steel Group and has been in operation for five years. The head office is located in Milperra with offices in Melbourne and Brisbane. Since its inception, ACP has experienced rapid growth due to a greater demand on customised products, an increase in roadwork around Australia and more maintenance work from the state roads and traffic authorities.
ACP has experienced significant growth, especially in the last two years, and we predict this growth to continue, Mr Brown said. It is therefore critical we have the one system which can manage all the manufacturing related processes while allowing a flow of information to other offices. We have total confidence that Priority will be able to manage any developments which arise.
Paul Hargreaves, Managing Director of Cincom Australia, said ACP is the first subsidiary of Southern Steel to implement Priority.
