With work and school back in full swing, there’s no better time to create some healthy tropical treats, to keep those summer feels alive for a bit longer. The Natural Health Company have created the ultimate summer experience, in the form of a Bliss Ball!
These Tropical Lime Bliss Balls are a perfect end of summer lunch box recipe and are made using Natural Health Company’s new ORGANIC FUSION – Tropical Organic Protein + Superfoods, to give you an extra burst of energy! Complete with a boost of super greens, antioxidants and tropical fruits, these healthy treats are delicious enough to replace your dessert - best of all, they a free from added nasties, like artificial colours, flavours and gluten.
Tropical Lime Bliss Balls
2 scoops ORGANIC FUSION – Tropical
2/3 cup dried pineapple
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup almond meal
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon lime rind (finely grated)
3 tablespoons of water (add more if required)
*Vegan option: replace honey with agave nectar
Method:

Tropical Lime Bliss Balls
2 scoops ORGANIC FUSION – Tropical
2/3 cup dried pineapple
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup almond meal
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon lime rind (finely grated)
3 tablespoons of water (add more if required)
*Vegan option: replace honey with agave nectar
Method:
- Chop the dried pineapple into small pieces for bursts of flavour.
- Place the dried pineapple and remaining ingredients (leave extra coconut for rolling the balls) into a large bowl and mix until well combined.
- Scoop a heaped tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball using your hands.
- Roll each ball into the remaining desiccated coconut to coat. Place the ball on a tray and repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Pop the tray of Bliss Balls into the fridge until ready to eat!
