Verbatim releases the worlds first automated duplicating and printing system for Mac users from Primera.

Announcement posted by Verbatim 20 Aug 2003

The Bravo Disc Publisher with Mac Compatibility delivers unmatched performance and versatility at a breakthrough price
Hands-Free Automated Production
The Bravo Disc Publisher saves both time and money with the fully automated production of up to 25 CDs or DVDs per job. An advanced robotic mechanism is used to transport discs into the built-in 52x CD-R recorder or optional Pioneer combo DVD-R/CD-R recorder. After recording, discs are transported to the integrated printer and printed in full colour at up to 2400 dpi resolution. Bravo prints directly onto the disc surface, eliminating the need for expensive and cumbersome hand-applied paper labels.
Get up and Running Quickly
Bravo attaches to any Mac running Apple OS X. Bravo comes equipped with Charismac Engineerings Discribe V5.0 duplication software and Magic Mouses Discus Labelling Software. Mac users can also design labels in any of their favourite graphic design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. and import them into the software. With common USB and FireWire interfaces, Bravo may also be used cross-platform on Windows XP/2000-based computers with optional add-on software.
Endless Applications and Great Value
Virtually any digital information can be recorded including audio, data, video, photos and more, making the Bravo the perfect application for businesses, churches, film and video producers, photography studios, music groups, schools as well as other companies and organisations who have a need for in-house copying and printing of CDs and DVDs.
Users who previously could not justify in-house CD or DVD duplication and printing now have an excellent solution with the Bravo offering all the advantages and benefits of far more expensive systems for a significantly lower price.
Pricing and Availability
The Bravo Disc Publisher for Mac is now available from authorised Verbatim resellers. The Bravo CD Publisher with a 52x CD-R recorder is priced at $3999 (RRP). The Bravo DVD Publisher with a Pioneer DVD-R/CD-R recorder is priced at $4999 (RRP). The DVD-R unit records DVD-Rs at 4x and CD-Rs at 16x.
