The Cathedral’s Hymn-Sing program includes:

"Love Divine, All Loves Excelling"

"Jesu, lover of my soul”

“O Thou who camest from above”

"Rejoice, the Lord is King"

“Christ the Lord Is Risen Today"

Lead by the world-renowned St Andrew’s Cathedral Choir of Boys and Men, with stirring brass provided by the St Andrew’s Consort, you will be guaranteed to leave the afternoon feeling spiritually fulfilled!

David Drury, Director of Music at St Paul’s College, will be at the organ while Ross Cobb, the Director of Music at the Cathedral will conduct the Hymn-Sing.

“We are delighted to have been asked by the Wesley Mission to present this glorious afternoon of well-sung favourites,” said Mr Cobb.

“This will be a fabulous afternoon featuring soaring descants from our boys, brilliant brass and deep, reverberating tones from our organ loft – I love the unique sound that this Cathedral – Australia’s Oldest – can produce when filled with a congregation in full voice!

“We may even drown out the roadworks on George Street.”

The Hymn-Sing will be jointly presented by Rev Keith Garner, AM, Superintendent of Wesley Mission and the Very Rev. Kanishka Raffel, Dean of St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney.
