WORLD FIRST AI-POWERED PERSONALISED VIDEO ASSISTANT

Announcement posted by SmartVideo 27 Feb 2018

AUTOMATING ACQUISITION & SUPPORT
Feb 27th SYDNEY: SMART VIDEO AUSTRALIA SYDNEY LAUNCH AI CX SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Key Takeouts: SMART VIDEO AUSTRALIA Completed their successful Australian launch of their new AI product from Automation AI Labs to a packed DataDay conference at the Sofitel Wentworth yesterday.

The system allows brands to automate user engagement at customer acquisition.  Using pre-recorded guidance and responses which are rendered and delivered live through the AI based on client interaction, the system is a first in the customer acquisition space.

Supporting predictable, consistent interactions within each customer’s personal journey, clients and customers experience a tailored and engaging interaction at each point in the journey. For CX management, it allows a much more consistent experience than that typically offered within a call centre or automated online chat environment.

The engagements allow for a deeper connection with consumers. Having AI drive the engagements at the point of enquiry is the next logical step. While traditional chat Bots use tech to attempt to mimic humans, the Smart Video Australia approach inverts this: the certainty of AI; with the warmth of human engagement

CEO Rodd Martin: “Customers have been migrated out of bricks and mortar, but now there’s a disconnect in the experience. Customers are being left to their own devices, and what this does is give companies a way to reengage that is personal and scalable.”

The system is built on Smart Video Australia’s experience rolling out personalised video engagements. If you’ve recently bought a new Toyota, then you may have been personally welcomed by Toyota’s local President Matthew Callachor. If you take out nib health insurance, you will get a personal message from brand ambassador Paul Harrigan; and if you’ve shopped at SpecSavers, chances are at some point Alex Perry will be in touch.

Smart Video Australia Co-Founder Francoise Gelbard: “Since 2014 we have immensely enjoyed launching in excess of 40 customer journey campaigns. We love working with a diverse mix of internal digital, marketing and IT stakeholders at leading ASX companies and global multinationals. We also work closely alongside their CRM and other martech vendors and partners, to create and deliver dynamic and seamless customer experiences.”

The technology has already gained interest from the New York financial services community, with investment firms keen to test the new technology through the AI Automation Labs brand.  Locally, the technology will be brought to market through the Smart Video Australia brand.
