Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) – Las Vegas - Mobile and e-Health company G Medical Innovations Holdings Ltd (ASX: GMV) has announced it will be demonstrating its innovative medical monitoring solutions for the first time in North American at HIMSS 2018, which commences on March 5, 2018. Demonstration of their integrated consumer and hospital grade monitoring devices marks an important milestone in the company’s planned expansion into the region throughout 2018.
HIMSS is one of the most important and influential conferences for the healthcare community held in North American annually, with an anticipated attendance of 45,000 industry professionals.
Listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in May 2017, G Medical Innovations has a strong pipeline of innovations with key approvals to ensure it can move quickly into commercialisation. The Company has received FDA, CE and TGA approvals for its Prizma Medical Smartphone Case, and the CE mark for its Vital Signs Monitoring System with G Medical Patch (VSMS with GMP). Prizma Medical Smartphone Case
The Prizma enables consumers to easily transform their smartphone into a highly-reliable mobile medical device for independently managing their own health. Currently the Prizma measurements include a 1-lead ECG, heart rate, stress levels, body temperature and oxygen saturation. Consumers can continuously measure, monitor and share these biometrics with caregivers and loved ones. In addition to providing immediate access to personal health indicators, the medical data can be sent to the consumers’ personal Portal where it is stored, and can be easily viewed and shared with those involved in their medical care.
Vital Sign Monitoring System with G Medical Patch
A modular, easy-to-use, clinical grade solution for monitoring patients, the VSMS with GMP utilizes patented wireless technologies, proprietary information technology and service platforms. This innovative solution is ideal for monitoring patients in most healthcare settings including clinics, assisted living residences, hospitals and out-patient locations. It can be used to monitor patients at all stages of the healthcare lifecycle, and takes the burden off medical and healthcare personnel, while still enhancing patient care.
