In a recent survey conducted by leading 100% natural sweetener brand, Natvia, Australian women open up about their health and wellbeing practices.

Natvia, strong advocates for health and well-being, surveyed 640 Australian women, majority ranging between 26-35 years old, followed by 36-45 year olds, 46-55 years old and 56+ to find out the relationship they have with their body, their eating habits and wellness tips. The results are interesting.

Approach to health and wellbeing

When asked to describe their approach to health and well-being, 42% of women said they workout 3 times or less per week but rarely consume processed foods or sugary treats. 32% of women said they workout at least 3 times a week and consume a healthy balanced diet, whilst a low 13% said they indulge and sweet treats every day.

Body part Australian women feel most self-conscious about

47% of women said that the body part they feel most self-conscious about is their belly, followed 24% who said they feel self-conscious about most parts of their body and that they have a love and hate relationship with it. A very low 3% of women answered that they love their body just as it is.

Sugar consumption

40% of the Australian women surveyed confessed to eating sugary treats and desserts at least 3 times a week and 12% said they eat desserts once a day. 33% however said they rarely eat desserts or sugary foods, maybe once a month.

Wellness tips

The Australian women surveyed also shared their top tip for health and wellness, and amongst all 639, the most common ones referred to reducing sugar intake, create a balance in your life and to do any form of exercise that keeps you active.
