Sydney, March 8, 2018 - The Australian Alliance for Data Leadership (AADL) has appointed COO Steve Sinha as Acting Chief Executive Officer as Jodie Sangster departs for IBM Watson.

Jodie Sangster leaves her role as AADL and ADMA CEO after seven years spent transforming ADMA. She remains on board to oversee the transition until the end of April.

“Jodie has created AADL and transformed ADMA and its sister Associations into what it is today - a highly respected industry partner and destination for all things data, marketing and advertising. During her time at AADL both the membership and footprint of the Associations have grown substantially to now include almost 700 member organisations and over 40,000 individuals. Jodie is leaving the Associations in great shape and we’re grateful for her immense efforts and leadership to date, and wish her well as she follows her passion for innovation in her new role,” said Steve Brennen, Chairman at AADL.

Experienced Group Executive Steve Sinha will assume Acting responsibility to continue to drive the AADL growth strategy whilst an executive search is underway for a new CEO.

“It’s been an incredible seven years leading such significant change at ADMA and now is the right time to leave, with the Group and each of the Associations in such great hands with an exciting vision for the future,” said Jodie Sangster. “A huge thank you to the Board, our fantastic members for the support over the years as well as to the team here at AADL.”
