Melbourne’s largest ever property expo – seminar topics announced

Announcement posted by Mercer PR 08 Mar 2018

As Melbourne gets ready for what has been labelled “the largest property expo ever seen in this country” - to be held this weekend at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre - organisers have announced the titles and speakers for over 20 free seminars that will educate people about the pros and cons of property purchasing and investment.

The Melbourne Property Expo is set to boost falling local property sales as many of the country’s largest developers compete under one roof, to sell local and interstate property to private buyers and investors.

The expo is being presented by First Media and director Na Yu said even those who are not in the market will benefit by attending the seminars presented across the weekend by experts in their respective fields.

“The seminars will absolutely be a highlight, and they will run back-to-back on both days.

“And for those in the market to buy now, I have no doubt that the current slump in property prices, particularly in the apartment sector, will see them being offered unbelievable incentives to purchase,” she said.

Seminar topics include, “What is the main trap of property development”, “Tax depreciation made easy”, “Where to invest in 2018-2020” and “Future development of L.I.V.E City Footscray and Melbourne’s western suburbs”.

Guest speakers include Dr Andrew Wilson, senior economist and one of Australia’s leading housing experts, along with Max Lam from Riskcom, Ironfish Melbourne’s Jason Jin and Andrew Barnett, a senior trader from LTG Goldrock.

Major exhibitors include Mayland, VICPROP, UEM Sunrise, R&F Property, H&T, Lendlease, EightCap, Central Equity, Poly, Jinding Group, Ironfish, Savills, Colliers International, Fletchers Projects and Award Mortgage.

Bankers, brokers, lawyers, accountants and other real estate and investment professionals will also feature.

The expo is free and will run from 10am to 5pm, this coming Saturday and Sunday, 10-11 March.
