Spiritual Community Finds New Home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore

Announcement posted by Sydney Centre for Spiritual Living 13 Mar 2018

Launch Event: Sunday 8 April 2018

Centers for Spiritual Living (csl.org), the worldwide headquarters of the spiritual philosophy known as the Science of Mind and Spirit, is opening their first centre in Australia, on Sydney’s Lower North Shore next month.

Centers for Spiritual Living helps individuals discover an inner Power and access spiritual tools that transform their personal and professional lives. Centers for Spiritual Living honours all people wherever they are on their spiritual path and is inclusive of race, religious affiliation, gender orientation and marital status.

The first Sydney Centre for Spiritual Living gathering will take place in Sydney on Sunday, 8th April 2018 at the Royal Pacific Hotel, 472 Pacific Hwy, Artarmon from 5-7:30pm.

The Sydney Centre for Spiritual Living (www.sydneycsl.com.au) will be led by Rev. Robyn Holt as the founding Spiritual Director. She is a 5th generation Sydneysider who has lived for the past 25 years in the United States. Rev. Robyn has returned to her hometown to bring this profound and important philosophy also known as New Thought to the people of Sydney.

“Our world is an increasingly “high-tech” yet disconnected world. What’s needed is a sense of greater love, hope and joy and meaningful “high-touch” connections,” Rev. Robyn said.

“This new Centre helps people experience and explore their spiritual lives, both on a deeply personal level and together in a supportive community. We bring together science, philosophy and mainstream religious thought and promote tolerance, understanding and respect. Our centre offers practical classes, personal development programs, prayer and meditation to enrich all aspects of your life, work and relationships,” Rev. Robyn explained.

“We focus on powerful principles for personal growth and global transformation, honouring all paths to God. People of all ages, walks of life and religious backgrounds will find a safe community of like-minded people, connected by a mutual curiosity, pursuit of meaningful purpose and positive energy,” she added.

Hear about the Centre’s plans to grow a loving and vibrant community with weekly classes in prayer, meditation and spiritual principles as well as a regular Sunday gathering starting late April/May designed to uplift and expand the consciousness of those present.

The Science of Mind and Spirit was initially espoused by Dr Ernest Holmes (1887 – 1960). Ernest Holmes believed and taught that mainstream religion, science and philosophy were able to be integrated into a cohesive set of spiritual principles which could be taught and demonstrated through daily application and adherence to immutable and impersonal spiritual laws.
