Glenview State Primary School Students met “Daisy” a Smart Pups Assistance Dog and proud mummy dog at their recent “School Parade” organised by Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show.
This year's Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show's theme is "Working Dogs". There will be all things canine throughout the showground to celebrate Chinese “Year of the Dog” 2018.
“Daisy” who is pregnant with an expected eight pups will display her offspring at the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Spiral Art Exhibition on 15, 16, 17 June 2018.
Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show “Kids Craft” Chief Steward Julia Tidy talked to students about how the school can participate this year and Show Manager Janell Cox presented tickets for students to attend this year's Show.
Two Free tickets will be given to students in each class just prior to the Show as a reward for "Excellence in School" such as Social Excellence or Community Spirit as deemed deserved by teachers.
The Smart Pups Assistance newest recruit puppies will be on view in the main pavilion where Spiral; a not for profit disability service provider based at Nambour is hosting the art exhibition involving local community groups, school students, local established and emerging artists and international artists showcasing their exceptional art and skills.
Smart Pups Assistance Dogs specialise in providing trained service dogs aiming to improve the quality of life of children with special needs by training assistance dogs in task-specific skills.
