HELP ON THE WAY

Announcement posted by Help Enterprises 10 Apr 2018

Leading Disability Employment Services (DES) Provider, Help Enterprises, is preparing to expand their scope of support to even more people with disability in need of work.

HELP has been awarded additional new Disability Employment Contracts throughout South East Queensland which will enable HELP to continue to assist over 5,000 job seekers into the workforce each year.

As a Queensland based not-for-profit organisation now in its 50th year of service, HELP’s Employment & Training division has a proven track record in both disability and jobactive employment services. HELP is regarded as a leading local and caring DES Provider who continues to help people gain employment.

With a current network of 38 employment offices across South East Queensland, from 1 July 2018 this number will grow with the addition of new Employment sites at Noosa, Maroochydore, Nambour, Caloundra, Maleny, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Oakey, Crows Nest and Gatton.

Help Employment and Training CEO, Greg Luck said “With this expansion, we will be able to help people with disability gain and sustain life changing employment outcomes. In the last two years alone we have supported thousands of Queenslanders into employment.”

“As part of our unique structure, all of our profits stay right here in Queensland and are reinvested back into providing valuable support services for people with disability,” said Mr Luck.

This year HELP celebrates 50 years as a Queensland born and bred disability social enterprise and their HELP mission and purpose continues to remain the same - to ‘Enhance the lifestyle and independence of people with disability’.

HELP is proud to not only create employment pathways for people into local businesses, but they also lead by example. Help Enterprises directly employs over 350 staff with disability in a wide range of jobs.
