Dell Boomi Partners with Ascender for Payroll Integration

Ascender to offer the Boomi platform as part of its payroll and human capital solutions
Sydney, Australia – April 12, 2018 – Dell Boomi™ (Boomi) and Ascender have announced a partnership to enable seamless cloud-based integration of payroll and human capital management systems with business-critical applications used by organisations in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
The agreement will see Ascender incorporate the Boomi integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) into its Preceda, Preceda Pay, Pay Asia, and WorkCloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) portfolio.
“When we meet with businesses today, we find that there is a real need for granular and advanced integration between the HR/payroll solution and their wider application ecosystem,” said Todd McDonough, Chief Product Officer, Ascender. “We regularly encounter the need to replace traditional on-premises interfaces that struggle to meet the needs of the modern connected business. Ascender partnered with Boomi following a rigorous market evaluation through which it conducted a series of proof-of-concepts to compare services from three vendors. Boomi was selected for: its true cloud native integration capabilities which minimise the need for supporting infrastructure; the speed of development and execution of integrations; its simple, low-code design; and its prominence among analyst industry assessments.
