Announcement posted by The Mobile Apps Man 27 Apr 2018
The Mobile Apps Man is thrilled to be chosen to help in the $632 million Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment project, “which will deliver expanded and world-class services in areas including the emergency department and paediatrics to meet the needs of the Macarthur area’s booming population” (The Daily Telegraph, 2017).
Managing Director of The Mobile Apps Man, Kirk Duncan, is among 20 community representatives joining the project team to plan, give professional advice and impart his expertise in innovation and information technology.
“It is such an amazing opportunity to be involved in a project of this scale,’’ Mr. Duncan said. Having been involved in large corporate relocation projects previously, as well as having designed and built technological solutions for firms such as Subway® businesses, Mr. Duncan’s experience is set to assist this redevelopment project.
In a recent interview conducted prior to last week’s series of Schematic Design Project User Group sessions, Mr. Duncan said that he was looking forward to supporting the user groups with his knowledge in business, innovation and information technology.
“I will bring a fresh, open mind with an information and technology perspective, as well as a family perspective,’’ he said.
Developing a hospital of the future from a ‘clean slate’ perspective, Mr. Duncan has already foreshadowed technological solutions such as way finding, IoT and asset tracking as potential improvements to the efficiency and running of a hospital.
