Ajilon Australia becomes Modis – an Adecco Group brand specialising in consulting, professional staffing and workforce solutions in Information Technology

Backed by the Adecco Group, the world’s leading HR solutions partner, the Ajilon organisation in Australia has today been re-branded as Modis - to support the group’s ambition to become the number one global technology professional staffing and solutions company. Modis is 100% owned by The Adecco Group.

Combining global strength and scale with local expertise since 2006, Ajilon Australia has built and developed a strong reputation for delivering agile and intelligent end-to-end solutions for its customers, including professional staffing and consulting, project services, managed services, customised solutions and full IT outsourcing projects. Under the new Modis brand identity, the company will offer these same services in Australia from the network of offices established by Ajilon in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth & Sydney.

Under the new Modis brand, the company will continue to create true business value by assembling high-quality specialist teams in the areas of information technology - working for, or in, a partnership with its clients. In addition, Modis will offer candidates an unrivalled, diverse portfolio of projects and career development opportunities with the flexibility and security they need to thrive. 

Modis Consulting will confirm its position of delivering high-quality application development and integration services – building on its track record across Australia that as Ajilon won numerous awards, including ‘INCITE awards’ in Western Australia, ‘iAwards’, ‘Premier’s Awards in NSW’ and the ‘Innovation Excellence Award’ in Queensland.

Modis Staffing was recognised in 2017 by independent assessment for having achieved an industry-leading Net Promoter Score [NPS].  Since 2016, the staffing business has produced year on year growth above the industry average - growing faster than the market quarter on quarter.

The Modis Australia team will continue to be led by the existing Ajilon Australia leadership team – with Rod Crozier overseeing the Modis Staffing business and Omar Alim heading Modis Consulting. Crozier and Alim, with their teams, report directly to Melbourne-based Rafael Moyano – CEO, Modis Australia and the wider Adecco Group in Australia. Today, nationally, 1100 colleagues will move seamlessly from Ajilon to the new Modis brand.

Globally, Modis will serve almost 20 territories across four continents, combining the existing Modis businesses in IT, engineering and life sciences solutions in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia - with the 11 other IT, engineering and life sciences brands from within the Adecco Group. 

Modis this year unveiled an entirely new visual identity that reflects its evolution as a global leader in the science and technology professional staffing and solutions sector. In Australia, Ajilon will adopt this new global identity from today onwards.

Modis will empower its associates, consultants, clients and candidates to connect smarter in a rapidly changing world of work, combining the strength of the existing Modis business with the Adecco Group’s proven track record in 60 international markets, including Australia.
