Introducing Mr Hawke Flex Pomade - the next generation in Men's Grooming

We set out to create the world’s best pomade. It’s bloody early days, but we’ve been blown away by the feedback from barbers, customers and friends alike. To a man they think we’re nailed it.

WHAT IS IT: Mr Hawke is a malleable, non-plasticised, flex pomade for men. Packaged in a custom modern utility box, it exudes sophisticated industrial – kind of like the man it’s made for.
WHY: The long and short of it is we were frustrated. Frustrated that there wasn’t a product on the market that could be used correctly. Frustrated with hair going hard and feeling like shit. Frustrated that no product promoted healthy hair. And frustrated at the constant mediocrity of the available products.
In truth, we harboured that frustration for a little longer than most would (given Mr Hawke really started as a twinkle in our eye 7–8 years ago). Our ambitious idea was to create a pomade that:
• Could be applied at the scalp to direct the roots,
• Helped clean and cleanse the hair,
• Stimulated regrowth,
• Allowed restyling through the day,
• Smelt fantastic, and
• Leveraged the unique skills, abilities and ingredients available to us of Oz.

• We could make our product more cheaply overseas. But we’re committed to making great products in here. We firmly believe high quality products, that leverage Australia’s unique skills, experience and ingredients represent the future for Australian manufacturing.
• We use a lot of Australian ingredients. These help to make Mr Hawke entirely bespoke and unique.
• We know we’re onto something, as for the first time in 40+ years we are seeing guys coming back to the salon to buy the product a couple of days after their cut.
