Don’t be stuck in a cooking rut

Announcement posted by The Audacious Agency 08 May 2018

Get your mojo back

Modern life can be fast-paced at the best of times. Lengthy commute times, long soul-crushing days at the office, after-school activities, and tackling a never-ending list of household chores can leave little time for crafting inspiring dinners.

Over time, many of us end up falling into a vicious cycle of habitually crafting easy-to-make staples which leave much to be desired. These meals often rely on boxed foods like chicken nuggets, onion rings, and frozen pizza, all of which are high in unhealthy fats and carbs.

Desperate to get out of your cooking rut? Know it is possible to make nutritious and tasty meals at home without using up too much of your precious time.

Amanda Smyth, a home cooking enthusiast behind food blog, Cooker and a Looker, was once in the same position. Overtaxed from juggling family farm and parental responsibilities, the same meals kept hitting the family table, week after week.

Tired with the monotony of it all, she started making a new dish every Thursday night. It was the shake-up she needed to get her cooking mojo back – in the years that followed, she founded her site, and the rest was history.

Wanting to help others in the same way she helped herself, Amanda is about to launch her annual 14-day new recipe challenge in the coming days. It aims to help busy families get their groove back in the kitchen by providing them with the same spark which roused her out of her own funk, whilst providing the tools to make it easier for them to do the same.

Set to start on the 7th of May, participants will receive a weekly shopping list, new recipes to try daily, and access to a private Facebook Group where they can get advice from experienced home cooks.

Unlike traditional cooking classes, you’ll receive all content via e-mail, allowing you to apply what you learn in the comfort of your own kitchen via your laptop, tablet, or phone.

Those who took part in last year’s program has provided glowing reviews of their experience in Amanda’s course. One mother remarked her “... kids actually got involved in making a lot of the meals...because I was happier making dinners and experimenting.”

Another said it made them “... feel motivated to experiment again in the kitchen”, whilst a third participant “realised that it wasn’t so much of an effort after all to fit cooking in instead of relying on ready meals.”

Ready to overhaul your meal rotation with dishes which are quick, healthier and more flavourful than the dull, boxed meals which are slowly sabotaging your health?

Sign up for Amanda Smyth’s 14-day challenge at https://cookerandalooker.com/challenge/ and surprise yourself – you are capable of creating amazing cuisine, and this course will prove it.
