ESL Australia will play host to the PUBG Global Invitational Qualifiers for Oceania 2018. 20 teams have made their way from the online stage to the offline finals, which will take place from the 22nd to 24th of June in Sydney, Australia. The winning team will earn their place at the PUBG Global Invitational Main Event, taking place from the 25th to 29th of July in Berlin, Germany.

The PUBG Global Invitational 2018 will bring the world's top 20 PUBG teams together in Berlin to battle out the first major PUBG esports tournament officially hosted by PUBG Corp. The winning team will walk away with the lion’s share of the $2,000,000USD prize pool.

Out of the 20 teams in the main event; 3 teams will come from Europe, 3 teams from North America, 3 from Asia, 2 from the CIS region, 2 from the Republic of Korea, 2 from China, 2 from Japan, 1 from Oceania and 1 team from Middle East/North Africa.

This weekend’s Oceanic qualifier can be watched online via Twitch, on http://twitch.tv/esl_pubg from 1pm AEST each day across June 22-24.
