In an age when the digital world is as fierce as ever for entrepreneurs, more and more Australia’s are ditching the 9-5 slog in search of a more fulfilling purpose. Destined to fail fresh out university, with a dismal network and limited resources, 22-year-old creative extraordinaire, Cassandra Hili, refused to accept rejection and failure, and traded self-doubt and uncertainty for a new laptop and luxe stationary. After fighting for her life from extensive weight-related illness, bullying and uncertain direction, Cassandra jumped at the opportunity to fuel her destiny of launching her own PR & communications agency, Millennium Communications, after biting the bullet and venturing out on her own. Now an ambassador for Make Bullying History and director of The Young Entrepreneurs Co., Cassandra is on the ride of her life; celebrating in global agency success while empowering our young people of tomorrow.

Hard work, persistence and determination is the recipe of success for this now 24-year-old who recently hit the big time and found global success with her newest Australian swimwear client who’s dominating headlines, TJ Swim; headed by 23-year-old social girl boss Tara Jane. With the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jen Atkins flaunting the brand, there’s no question Cassandra and her team are gearing up for future global success in an agency that has only just surpassed its first full year.

Since starting Millennium Communications, I’ve discovered so much more about business and myself than what I could ever imagine. Business has toughened me up, taught me to be more assertive and most importantly, that no dream can’t be achieved if you’re putting in the hard work. Thanks to that mindset, I just don’t see results, but so do my clients.

Cassandra has built an empire in her own right, and it is only early days. From running a successful lifestyle blog to launching the Young Entrepreneurs Co., running her forward-thinking PR agency to lending her tips and tricks to a plethora of publications, conferences and network events including Sydney’s The Entourage; all the while holding an ambassador role for Make Bullying History; this power-kicking millennial is paving a way for a new generation of strong, focused and willing entrepreneurs who may not have the support or resources available to achieve their goals.

Being young shouldn’t ever stop anyone from achieving a dream or goal. I’ve learnt that there are so many opportunities out there if you just have the courage to be able to pursue it. I never liked school or uni, it just wasn’t for me, but I did find a passion, I choose to live it out and most importantly I made the choice to create something that inspires me everyday. I want every other Australian kid and young adult to feel the same way and it’s okay if you don’t find it in or out of high school. It will happen when you need it to happen. You shouldn’t have to wait for someone to give you your dreams when there are so many resources out there for you to be able to just do it.
