LET’S TALK ABOUT SEX! Call out for Cast Members for a cheeky new show at HOTA

Announcement posted by HOTA 19 Jul 2018

All the Sex I’ve Ever Had will be performed at HOTA in early October and the team behind the show, internationally renowned Canadian performance company Mammalian Driving Reflex have started auditioning locally for cast members.

The show will be based on real people (local Gold Coasters) who are happy to open-up about their lives, sexual experiences and the unexpected twists and turns of their relationships.  They must be willing to divulge stories like first crushes, turbulent affairs, unexpected pregnancies and deaths of loved ones.

The show will see the performers chatting with the audience, toasting to important milestones and some may even break out into a dance on-stage.

All the Sex I’ve Ever Had is an opportunity to acknowledge that our elders have a lot to teach us, a lot to share, and that ageing can yield a way of being in the world that is open, generous and fearless.

HOTA CEO Criena Gehrke said she is delighted to welcome Mammalian Diving Reflex as they take up residency at HOTA, Home of the Arts in September.

“Previous performances of All the Sex I’ve Ever Had have been thought provoking and truly heartwarming and we can’t wait to see what happens when the show takes on a Gold Coast flavour,” Criena said.

The team at HOTA are hoping that there are people on the Gold Coast aged 65+ who would be keen to be involved.
