Main Beach florist 'Flowers on Tedder' is ‘blooming good’, winning the Gold Coast Bulletin’s prestigious best florist of the year award for the second year running.

High quality product, great service and a sought-after location have contributed to the store’s success, according to 'Flowers on Tedder' owner Margot de Groot.

“Our team has worked extremely hard over the past year to deliver on our promise to continually draw inspiration from the beautiful coastal environment and relaxed lifestyle we have on the Gold Coast,” said Margot.

“At the same we pride ourselves on working with every customer to design an arrangement that conveys their sentiments with understated elegance. I think this is what makes our store special.”

During the past year, Margot and her team of florists including Nikki, Hannah, Erika, Whitney and Emma have enjoyed providing flowers for some wonderful events - beautiful weddings, stunning soirées, birthday parties and anniversary celebrations as well as for corporate venues.

“Winning the award last year was a great boost to us. So many more people from around the local area started to visit us from that day on,” she said.

“It’s been so satisfying to meet and get to know the people who live and work in Main Beach.

“Tedder Avenue is really moving ahead and having the support of locals is so important to our success and the success of every other business nearby.

“We thank everyone who has visited us and ask them to return – even if it is just to see and smell the flowers and have a break for a moment from their busy days.”

Margot said while many customers preferred personalised, on-trend floral arrangements, others liked traditional arrangements.

“We love working with beautiful seasonal flowers and are always seeking to produce new and unique styles,” she said.

Flowers on Tedder is open Monday to Friday, from 9.30am-5pm, and 9am-1pm on Saturdays. Drop in to the studio at 17 Tedder Avenue, Main Beach, Queensland or order online at http://www.flowersontedder.com.au
