Entrepreneurs, business angels and investors at Startup&Angels #2 in Port Moresby

Since its inception in 2016, Startup&Angels allowed people to hear insights, stories and journeys from local and international tech and startup entrepreneurs, founders and experts. Startup&Angels organised events in more than 15 cities around the world, with more than 40 editions, as far as Rwanda, Kenya, Cambodia, Nepal, Singapore, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea and Australia.

For this second edition in Port Moresby, several speakers will share their journeys with the audience, including Axel Peyriere from Emerging Classifieds Ventures, Andrew Runawery from PNG SME Business Magazine, Kaung Sitt from GSMA, Priscilla Kevin from the PNG ICT Cluster and others to be announced.

The attendees will also be able to discuss before and after the talks with other attendees and the speakers, and ask them questions. The perfect space to mingle about entrepreneurship, new technologies and startups.

Event host Axel Peyriere from Emerging Classifieds Ventures says that the startup and entrepreneurship scene in Papua New Guinea is growing fast, with more and more projects monthly, and with its 10 million population, PNG has everything to thrive in this industry. Startup&Angels is happening just before the APEC Conference that will be hosted in Port Moresby later this year and gives PNG a great focus worldwide.

The event will also see the launch of 2 new online marketplaces in PNG that will facilitate communication between customers and small & medium businesses, MyWantok.com and PNGhometask.com.
