SLR announces key strategic hire in Western Australia

SLR Consulting’s Asia Pacific operations are pleased to announce the senior appointment of Dehlia Goundrey to the Perth office as Environmental Principal and Western Australia Manager.

 

Dehlia has delivered project and governance outcomes for many clients including Rio Tinto, BHP, Roy Hill, Fortescue, Pilbara Port Authority, BP, Main Roads Western Australia, Water Corporation and Horizon Power. Specialising in the planning and implementation of sustainability and environmental management and assessments, Dehlia has developed the economic assessments of environmental and social outcomes over an assets full life cycle. She has also defined and implemented sustainable project delivery frameworks, driving effective risk management and best practice principals and outcomes across corporate and project contexts within engineering, environmental and social disciplines.

 

Dehlia's career foundation is based within Western Australian Local Governments and the Department of Environmental Protection. Her government tenure was followed by eight years at Halcrow (CH2MHill/Jacobs) leaving as an Associate Director - Environment. After returning to Perth and four years at WorleyParsons as the Sustainability and Climate Change Manager (Principal Consultant) and five years at Strategen Environmental as a Principal and Partner, Dehlia joins us here at SLR.
