Demonstrating the future of ag

Field days are all about connecting a potential buyer to a product. It is the ideal platform to allow people to examine every nut, bolt and feature of a display. Seeing that product in action however, is what everybody really wants to see, and Commonwealth Bank AgQuip 2018 will be bursting at the seams with live action demonstrations right across the field.

Confronted with serious dry conditions over parts of Australia, AgQuip offers an opportunity for the rural community to take a break for a day and experience the numerous demonstrations featuring drones, ag tech, four-wheel drive vehicles, saw mills, quad bike safety training lessons, motorbike skill displays, dam building exhibitions, farm machinery, as well as horse training and working dog demonstrations.

The interest shown in exhibitors wanting to go the ‘extra mile’ and conduct live demonstrations at AgQuip 2018 shows an encouraging shift back to the golden age of field days when demonstrations were a key marketing component for exhibitors.

The Soil Conservation Service on I-J/06-07 is digging deep with live demonstration of dam construction using GPS guidance systems fitted to dozer and excavator. The heavy machinery will be carving out a dam and demonstrating the best earthworks techniques.

Outback Alternative Training will be conducting horsemanship courses using NLP - a world first.  Lucas Mills will be demonstrating their world popular portable saw mill.  Stafford Welding Products & Tools has hot work demonstrations with their latest welding equipment.  Milbrotec is demonstrating their fully galvanised Grate Gate, a cattle grate and secure property gate all-in-one – and so much more.

Future farming is a big focus and across the site you’ll see ag tech, farm machinery and precision farming demonstrations.  Don’t miss seeing the world’s biggest boomspray at Hayes Spraying.

Kawasaki on C-D/14 will be hosting an exciting area where you can test drive their new side by side ag vehicles and live demonstrations with atvs and motorbikes that will be sure to catch your eye.

Stop by the dedicated demonstration areas including motorbike, four-wheel drive, farm machinery, earthmoving, drones - check the Activities Program featured on the AgQuip App and web site.  The free shuttle buses navigating the static display area will be dropping off and picking up at each of the demonstration areas over the three days of the event.

Take a moment to be entertained by acclaimed Australian country music star and multi Golden Guitar winner Adam Harvey who will be performing at the event, courtesy of Clipex, on Wednesday 22 August.

You will see demonstrations of the future of agriculture technology and entertainment right across the site at Commonwealth Bank AgQuip field days.
Commonwealth Bank AgQuip will be held at its purpose-built 32-hectare site eight kilometres west of Gunnedah NSW from 21 to 23 August 2018. Don’t miss out on your once a year visit to the nation’s meeting place of rural Australia.
