BCT Solutions successfully supports hardware trial on Exercise Hamel

Achieving integration and maintaining connectivity across the different fleets of equipment are a challenge for any combat force. Recently, BCT Solutions had the privilege of supporting the integration of Leonardo DRS‘ battle management hardware with the Australian Army tank fleet. The activity was successfully implemented in time to participate in the recent Exercise Hamel.

It was the first time the system was featured on an operational exercise. Whilst this is notable, the primary achievement was that it was the first time that the Main Battle Tank fleet had been connected to the Army’s Battle Management System.

Full credit should be given to the Leonardo DRS team and members of the Australian Army for the successful integration. But we would also like to give a shout out to BCT's very own Lucas McKennariey for successfully communicating across a variety of stakeholders and navigating Army’s exercise priorities to help deliver an integrated system in time for the Exercise.
