Polycom Recognises Success at first ever ANZ Polycom Partner Awards

Telstra Corporation Wins Highly Coveted ‘ANZ Partner of the Year’
Australia and New Zealand, 30 August 2018 – Polycom, part of Plantronics, (NYSE: PLT) has announced the winners of its first Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Polycom Partner Awards during a night of celebration at the Palazzo Versace Hotel on Australia’s Gold Coast. Major winners on the night included Telstra Corporation who won the highly coveted ‘ANZ Partner of the Year’, Insync Technology who won the ‘ANZ Solution of Excellence Award’ and IComm Australia, who received the ‘ANZ Centre of Excellence Award’. New kid on the block, Data#3, won the ANZ Rising Star Award.

During the awards ceremony, Polycom recognised those partners that demonstrated their ability to stay out in front of the digital transformation curve, delivering the highest level of expertise in implementing Polycom’s collaboration solutions. This included delivering best-in-class performance, exceptional sales results and solution longevity and success for customers. In addition to recognising its go-to-market partners, Polycom honoured its leading distribution partners and alliance partners for demonstrating unique and innovative approaches to implementing customer applications that extend the value of the Polycom Solutions in a range of customer environments.

The awards event also marked the grand finale of ASCEND 2018, Polycom’s first ANZ Partner Summit, held at Sofitel Broadbeach from the 28thto 30thAugust 2018. The conference was a chance for Polycom and its partners to connect, collaborate and celebrate. It was also an opportunity for Polycom and Plantronics executives to share more insights on the exciting future for ANZ channel partners as Polycom and Plantronics combines two great channel programmes into one. A move that Nick Tidd explained would put Polycom in an even better place to deliver increased investment and value added support that would ultimately deliver more market opportunities for partners.
