Building or renovating? Then visit Brisbane's favourite home improvement event

Proudly supported by The Sunday Mail, the Brisbane HIA Home Show will be returning to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday 14 - Sunday 16 September 2018. The Home Show continues to be the premier destination for Brisbane homeowners and trade members who are looking for the latest in building and renovation products, with 250+ exhibitors showcasing the latest products and trends for kitchens, bathrooms, interiors and outdoor living.


In 2018 the Home Show will showcase two interactive, fully functional Tiny Homes. Titan Garages &Sheds construct extremely versatile buildings that can fulfill the requirements of a granny flat, an artist’s studio, a man cave or parents retreat. Timber Transitions will be back at the Home Show with their latest Bush Hut design, made completely from fallen Australian hardwood.


The new Stocks Appliances - Smeg Cooking Stage will inspire clever cooking with chef Jan Woods demonstrating some of the many benefits of cooking with steam and how to best use some of the new Smeg kitchen appliances in the market. The event is rounded off with a chance for visitors to taste the dishes and ask questions. Whether you’re building, renovating or redecorating, you can visit the Build Renovate Decorate Seminar Series for inspiration and ideas. Transform your home with tips, trends and advice including how to design a future ready home, kitchen and bathroom renovation tips, workshops for first home buyers and more! Speakers include George Samios from Madd Finance, Peter Latemore from Latemore Designs and Jon Rivera from Urban Homes.


For the renovation rookie or design novice, the HIA Ask an Expert Zone will offer FREE 20-minute consultations with a HIA professional. Visitors can also bring their plans and design ideas for a personalised consultation with a building, design, renovation, kitchen or bathroom expert. Bookings can be made either online or at the Show.

he 2018 Show will also feature a range of new products and exhibitors, including Point Pod - an innovative way to access power in your kitchen, TopLine Clothesline - an intelligent clothes drying system, the latest home interior trends from Häfele and Häfele brand ambassador Darran Palmer will also be present the Show, so make sure to stop by and say “Hi”.


Tickets are available to purchase at the door or online (discounted) at brisbanehomeshow.com.au. Kids under 14 and trade members can enter the Show for free.
