BenQ Launches 32” Curved Monitor for Ultimate Gaming and Endless Personal Entertainment

Announcement posted by BenQ Australia 06 Sep 2018

BenQ EX3203R achieves VESA DisplayHDR 400 and AMD FreeSync 2 Certifications

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, September 6, 2018 – BenQ, a leading global innovator of displays, today launched its latest innovation in visual technology, the EX3203R - a curved 32” monitorideal for ultimate gaming and endless personal entertainment. Available from September 10 in JB Hi-Fi and Amazon.com.au, the EX3203R will be priced at AU$799.

“The BenQ EX3203R features dazzling HDR performance that has earned VESA DisplayHDR 400 and AMD FreeSync 2 certifications,” said Martin Moelle, managing director of BenQ Australia. “These third-party accreditations assure Australians that EX3203R can flawlessly render HDR content while raising the bar for PC and console gaming monitors.”

Keeping pace with entertainment content encoded with HDR, which significantly increases the dynamic luminosity range for vivid, realistic video quality, VESA DisplayHDR certification is the world’s first public qualification testing protocol for HDR monitor performance.

Similarly, FreeSync 2 accreditation raises the bar for PC and console gaming monitors by requiring panel characteristics such as a large dynamic refresh rate range and low latency for exceptional HDR viewing experiences. It eliminates image tearing, broken frames, and choppy gameplay.

EX3203R’s exceptional colour reproduction, together with superb contrast performance and ultrafine detail rendition, ideally equip it as the perfect HDR video and gaming display platform.

BenQ EX3203R - a sight for sore eyes

Another key feature of the EX3203R is the patented BenQ Brightness Intelligence Plus (B.I.+) eye-care technology.

According to Moelle, being protected by BenQ Brightness Intelligence Plus (B.I.+) eye-care technology means the EX3203R provides long-term eye comfort for extended gaming or video watching sessions.

“BenQ B.I.+ detects ambient colour temperature and brightness to automatically adjust the monitor’s brightness and colour temperature for the most comfortable and accurate viewing experience. This avoids overexposure in bright scenes while preserving subtle details in dark scenes,” said Moelle.

Flicker-Free Technology, also embedded in the EX3203R, provides immediate relief from eyestrain by eliminating the 200+ times per second flickering that plagues conventional LCD screens.

“The EX3203R ingeniously blends HDR image quality together with BenQ ‘B.I.+’ technology,” said Moelle. “You can be guaranteed an immersive experience, exceptional colour reproduction, and the benefits of healthier viewing and eye-care.”

The BenQ EX3203R is available from September 10, 2018 from JB Hi-Fi and on Amazon.com.au.
