Sydney, Australia – 6th September 2018: Brother’s PT-P710BT label printer draws on the comfort of the consumer’s smartphone to give users flexible control to organise their life from technology they already use every day. By replacing the calculator-esque design of traditional labellers with the limitless function of smartphone technology, users can manufacture QR codes, insert their favourite emojis, and print in almost any language.

The intuitive capabilities of the PT-P710BT syncs up with all smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth technology to ensure a seamless connection between devices. Further to this, the label printer has been created with a modern and multicultural environment in mind, printing an array of characters across numerous languages, as well as over 1000 emojis and special symbols. This permits users to get creative with its functions, e.g. labelling common items with foreign words to get accustomed to a new language.

A range of new templates made available through the Design&Print and iPrint&Label smartphone apps inspire detailed label making. This can be achieved through a PC connection that gives users access to Brother’s in-depth P-touch Editor software, opening up a range of possibilities for those who dare to delve deeper with their designs. From labelling folders and cables to creating barcodes and take-away box seals, these apps allow for customisation of fonts, designs, and material to benefit all uses.

The design and functions of this model have been greatly extended with the use of up to 24mm width tape – double that of its predecessor – offering the opportunity for larger label applications in a variety of home and business uses. Users can now add a shop logo or image onto the label, allowing for a more professional design, which is taken a step further with Brother’s ‘Share Label’ templates that can be linked to URLs online. One practical example of this is the ability to create a QR code linking to the URL of an online user manual which can then be stuck onto an appliance – gone are the days of searching for the printed manual!

In celebration of the launch, Brother have released three new types of premium tape for classy and stylish labelling. Glitter tapes, satin ribbon tapes, and decorative pattern tapes allow users to add extra flair; whether it be onto clothing, for name tags, crafts, or gift decoration. For those working in potentially harsh environments, the extremely durable TZe tape is the answer, tested to the extreme and designed to last.

With up to two times wider printing tape, a reinvigorated design, and extended features, the PT-P710BT is ideal for the Australian home and small business markets.
