Quite often, the journey of first-time parenting can be a confusing one. With so many different brands and publications all trying to push seemingly contrasting beliefs and product pitches, even understanding where to begin can be a struggle. That’s why the Baby Train brand was born; a desire to give parents a simple, understandable entry point into buying for babies.

Baby Store Beginnings

“When Todd & I went on our first baby shopping expedition, we were excited and ready to learn all things baby.  Unfortunately, our excitement soon turned to confusion as we entered an unknown world of prams, car seats, cots, highchairs, bottles, nappies, dummy’s (the soother kind), blankets, nipple shields and much much more!

We returned home empty handed and defeated.  We realised that there must be a better way to shop for baby.  The way we saw things, you can easily spend thousands of dollars on baby goods, so you should at least enjoy the experience.” ~ Rebecca Schwarz

That was ten years ago. This dissatisfaction with the options available to new parents sparked the beginning of Baby Train’s push for more transparent purchasing assistance for parents.
