Foundation Financial Advice achieves FPA Professional Practice status

27 September 2018

Foundation Financial Advice located in Bourke Street, Melbourne has been accredited as an FPA Professional Practice by the Financial Planning Association, in recognition of their high professional and ethical standards.

The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is Australia’s leading professional body for financial planners. The FPA Professional Practice program is designed to recognise financial planning practices that go above and beyond, to deliver best practice financial advice in the local community.

As an FPA Professional Practice, Foundation Financial Advice is now eligible to use FPA Professional Practice branding in their offices, on the company website and marketing literature to clearly differentiate the practice.

To qualify for FPA Professional Practice status, businesses undergo both a rigorous screening process and are required to meet the following requirements:

·         Over 75 per cent of financial planners must be FPA members

·         Over 50 per cent of financial planners must be CFP® professionals, or will be within three years.

As an FPA Professional Practice, Foundation Financial Advice will also undergo regular audits and surveys as part of the FPA Quality Practice Assurance Program to ensure it continues to meet the high standards set by the FPA.

Peter Tribolet CFP® SSA the Director and Principal Financial Adviser of Foundation Financial Advice said:

“We are very excited to become an FPA Professional Practice and would like to thank Dante and the FPA for this appointment. We are always striving to deliver the highest quality expert advice to provide our clients with the best possible financial outcomes. Particularly helping many clients in Victoria's Public and Emergency Services, we take great pride in advising all clients in their best interests to meet their goals. Whether highly complex Defined Benefits, Industry Funds or Aged Care through to SMSF, Wealth and Family Protection, Debt and Investment Advice.

During challenging times for the profession and client trust, becoming an FPA Professional Practice provides existing and prospective clients the confidence that they are dealing with a financial planning business of the highest quality and caliber. You can find out more about Foundation Financial Advice at www.foundationfa.com.au ”.

FPA CEO Dante De Gori said:

“The FPA Professional Practice program recognises quality financial planning practices that are providing the highest quality financial advice in their community.”

With only one in five Australians seeking financial advice, we are working hard to address this gap by increasing consumer trust in financial planning.  Consumers don’t know where to turn for advice they can rely on.  If they look for a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional or an FPA Professional Practice, this is a perfect place to start.”

The FPA invests heavily in advertising campaigns designed to further promote the FPA brand as a mark of trust to all consumers.  You can find out more about the FPA at www.fpa.com.au.
